Book binding service
Finally started reading 梁文道's讀者. Read about sth called 書皮學 which I think is something that we have to learn in this age of info boom.
In the days before printing technology was commonly available, European readers went to the bookshop, found the book (without any cover) they wanted, and the shopkeeper could custom make the book cover for them. You can choose the binding method, book cover material, words to be printed on the cover etc. Every book, at that time, was therefore unique.
Can we revive this practice? That will make our shop really unique. But then I still think we have a problem - as readers we are not diligent or sophisticated enough!
